Introducing My Motivators Page

Why?

Attuned was originally developed as a tool to help managers, and, up until now, only users designated as Owners, Admins or Managers have been able to access the Dashboard or view the Intrinsic Motivator Reports for other members of their team. However, many of our customers have requested that Attuned be opened up to non-managers as well, which was the inspiration behind our latest upgrade: My Motivators Page (MMP).

A member-oriented platform that gives non-managers access to Attuned’s psychology-and-AI-driven insights, MMP provides members with a range of resources and suggested actions that are designed to help them understand themselves—and their colleagues—better. 

By creating mutual awareness of each others’ motivators, and by highlighting the motivational gaps and blindspots that can often be the source of miscommunication and conflict, MMP helps members understand their manager and coworkers on a deeper level. And, by empowering employees to take the initiative in improving workplace relationships, it also alleviates some of the burden that is traditionally placed on managers to do so. 

Currently, MMP has only been activated for selected customers who requested it. If you would like to enable it for your organization, please contact the Attuned team via the intercom chat box on Attuned’s main page or by emailing team@attuned.ai.

 

MMP Dashboard

Gap Radar Chart
This feature allows members to compare their motivator profiles to those of their coworkers, and to see the gaps and similarities between themselves and other members at-a-glance. They can also read related tips and insights, and save the ones that they find most useful or relevant, then set them as actionable goals and share them with coworkers.

Top Motivators
This feature displays the member’s top three motivators based on their most recent motivation assessment. For each motivator, the member can see associated tips and insights, save the ones they find most relevant, and add them to lists of favorites and/or goals.

Goals
Here, members can view tips they have previously added to this section, create new goals, see goals shared with coworkers, and mark a goal as completed.

VISIBILITY
Members can hide their motivator profile and gaps from team members by turning the “Share my Gaps” feature off. 

If users choose to do this, they will see an empty panel where motivation tips had once been and will be unable to select a team to view. If users turn their visibility on again, the motivation gaps and motivation tips will reappear.

SEND US A MESSAGE
Members can use the Intercom function to access resources and frequently asked questions about MMP, or to speak to someone from the Attuned Team for additional support. 

REPORT AN ISSUE
Members also have an option to report issues related to functionality, bugs or errors, or to make more general suggestions for improvements. 

 

How to invite members to access MMP

  • Managers and Admins can invite members to access MMP for the first time from the People page.

  • Invited members can access the MMP dashboard by clicking on the “Accept Invite” button in the email they receive.

  • For future access, they can use the login page to access their MMP dashboard:

How will MMP help members and managers?

Managers
MMP helps managers to communicate with each team member more effectively by creating the conditions to talk openly and naturally about different motivational needs. In doing so, they will find it easier to motivate people, build mutual understanding between themselves and team members, and run more personalized and efficient 1-on-1s.

Members
MMP helps members learn about their motivators on an ongoing basis, as well as how to have better conversations about their motivational needs with their managers and other members of their team. It also shows them how to turn motivational gaps and blindspots into opportunities to improve interpersonal relationships and performance, laying the foundations for happier, more productive teams.
